Breaking News: Explosion at Chinese-owned shop in Laos kills 4, including Chinese nationals.

On February 14th, a Chinese shop in Laos experienced a fire and explosion, resulting in the death of four individuals, including Chinese citizens.

Video footage circulating online showed thick smoke billowing from the shop before the explosion, indicating a possible fire. Following a loud bang, the shop’s ceiling was instantly shattered into pieces. Subsequently, fire trucks rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames.

The Chinese Consulate General in Luang Prabang reported at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th that the explosion occurred at 10:00 a.m. local time. The incident took place at a Chinese shop in Mengsa County, Oudomxay Province, Laos, and has resulted in the death of four individuals, including Chinese citizens. Currently, the fire has been brought under control, the injured have been hospitalized, and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
