“Both presidential candidates will fundraise in Southern California this month.”

In June, Southern California has become the focus of the presidential election.

According to KTLA, Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in Hollywood on Tuesday, and both major party presidential candidates – incumbent President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump – are planning visits to Southern California this month to participate in fundraising events.

California is home to many major donors, making it an inevitable stop for both presidential candidates during the election year and a stage for vying for billionaire support.

Trump plans to stay in California for three days, holding three fundraising events in Southern California in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, and in Northern California in San Francisco.

On Friday, Trump will host a reception and dinner event in Beverly Hills with entrance fees ranging from $5,000 to $250,000.

On Saturday, the former president will move on to Newport Beach, where participants will have to pay up to $100,000. The fundraising event will be hosted by billionaire tech entrepreneur and founder of Oculus, Palmer Luckey, along with health insurance company co-founder John Word and his wife, Kimberly Word.

Earlier this past Thursday, former PayPal executive David Sacks and his wife Jacqueline Sacks, along with Facebook executive Chamath Palihapitiya, co-hosted a fundraising dinner in San Francisco. Ticket prices ranged from $5,000 to $300,000 per person, and couples’ tickets were priced at $500,000.

David Sacks and Palihapitiya are co-hosts of the “All-In” podcast and have previously organized political fundraising events, including fundraising for Trump.

According to KTLA, Biden plans to head to downtown Los Angeles for a fundraising event next weekend, with Hollywood stars George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and former President Barack Obama expected to attend. ◇
