On Thursday night, just after 9 o’clock, according to police sources, an incident occurred outside a building at 1514 8th Street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. It involved a delivery man who was stabbed in the chest by two masked men. The attackers then proceeded to steal the victim’s lightweight motorcycle and $20 in cash before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Local councilwoman Susan Zhuang released a statement acknowledging that the delivery man is in stable condition. She expressed gratitude for the swift response of the police and emergency personnel and hopes that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) will swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice. Finally, she urged New Yorkers to “speak up when they see something” and to remain vigilant and safe.
