According to the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Li Yuguo, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and laws, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
Public records show that Li Yuguo was born in October 1956 in Leting, Hebei Province, and started working in February 1976. In his early years, he held various positions within the Chinese Communist Party military, including Deputy Director of a training department at the Beijing Military Region, Battalion Commander, Director of a training department, Minister of Training, Deputy Commander (with the rank of regimental commander), Deputy Division Commander of a Group Army, and Commander of a military sub-district under the Beijing Military Region.
In August 2009, Li Yuguo became a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau. In August 2014, he was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau.
On August 1, 2017, a personnel appointment and removal list released by the Beijing Municipal Government indicated that Li Yuguo was no longer holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau.
