Award-winning documentary “State-Owned Organs” to screen in Midtown New York.

The Chinese version of the film “State-Owned Organs” will be screened at Middletown Cinemas in New York City on Sunday, September 22nd at 5:45 PM.

“State-Owned Organs” took nearly seven years to film, using a large amount of first-hand testimonies, including doctors who were involved in forced organ harvesting, to expose the crimes of organ harvesting by the Chinese Communist Party from the perspectives of victims and their families. The film has received numerous awards, such as six nominations at the Canadian Leo Awards for Best Director and Best Music, the “Best Human Rights Documentary” at the Manhattan Film Festival, and being a finalist for Best Feature Documentary at the 2025 Oscars.

Currently, “State-Owned Organs” is being screened globally and has been well-received by audiences worldwide.

After the screening in Middletown this month, audiences will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion with the film’s director Zhang Yong, special guests Mr. Cheng Peiming, Mr. Wang Zhiyuan, and Ms. Liang Zhen.
