Argentinian President Fernandez condemns United Nations’ promotion of leftist agenda.

Argentinian President Javier Milei has accused the United Nations of imposing a “socialist” agenda on member countries and has called on nations to join the “freedom agenda.” He further stated that the UN has become “weak and powerless” in preventing conflicts.

In his first speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, September 24, Milei criticized the recently passed “Future Contract” by the UN, which he believes includes a “socialist” agenda.

Milei views the UN as a behemoth that “attempts to dictate what every national country should do and how global citizens should live.”

“The mindset of the left is always the same. They design a model based on what humans should do, and when things don’t align, they suppress, restrict, and limit the freedom of people,” he said.

Milei emphasized, “Argentina does not support any policies that imply restrictions on individual freedom or trade or infringe upon natural rights.”

“We invite all countries of the free world to join us, not only to oppose this agreement but also to set forth a new agenda for this noble institution: the freedom agenda,” he added.

Since taking office last December, Milei has been dedicated to addressing Argentina’s most severe economic crisis in decades. He has implemented stringent austerity measures to tackle the significant fiscal deficit and lower triple-digit inflation rates. However, critics argue that these policies may exacerbate the economic downturn.

Milei often makes strong statements, attracting global attention. He has formed friendships with prominent figures like Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

On Monday, Milei met Musk for the third time in New York City. Musk announced on his platform X on Tuesday, “My company is actively seeking ways to invest in and support Argentina.”

Milei regards Trump as one of the most crucial political figures in the world. He denies the existence of human-caused climate change and staunchly opposes Argentina legalizing selective abortion. He has vowed to engage in a “cultural confrontation” with the left in Argentina.

Milei warned at the United Nations on Tuesday, “I am here to warn you that we are at the end of a cycle. The collective collectivist and moral postures of the awakening agenda are in direct conflict with reality.”
