Another Chinese Communist Party agent accused, shocking the Chinese community.

Hello everyone, welcome to “News Perspective”, I am Li Xin.

Today’s focus: Another Chinese Communist Party agent accused by the US, shaking the Chinese community! US crackdown on CCP infiltration! Xi Jinping’s speech six years ago revealed fears of being overthrown! Video footage of Wang Yilin, Chairman of China Petroleum, being raided is shocking!

On Tuesday morning, Linda Sun (41 years old), former Deputy Chief of Staff at the New York State Governor’s Office and former Deputy Commissioner of the State Labor Department, along with her husband Chris Hu (40 years old), were arrested at their Long Island home.

FBI Assistant Director Curtis, who is overseeing the investigation, stated, “Former New York state government employee Linda Sun acted as a covert agent for the Chinese Communist government, while her husband facilitated the transfer of millions of dollars in kickbacks for personal gain. Sun used her influence at high levels to secretly promote Chinese and CCP agendas, directly threatening national security in the US.”

Prosecutors claim that her actions were brazen. In one instance, she covertly connected a Chinese official into a non-public official phone meeting about public health and epidemic prevention measures within the state government.

The indictment against Sun also lists instances where she actively worked to prevent Taiwan representatives from communicating or meeting with senior US government officials. After successfully diverting a New York political figure from an event hosted by Taiwan, Sun bragged in a 2016 message to a Chinese consulate official, “Everything is resolved smoothly.”

Moreover, during Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen’s visit to New York in 2019, Sun was even photographed participating in a pro-Beijing protest against Tsai’s visit to the US.

Up until January 2021, she had been covertly working behind the scenes to prevent US officials from mentioning the detainment of Uighur people in Beijing in their speeches. Uighurs are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Sun told a Chinese official that she had argued with a staffer of Kathy Hochul to remove mentions of “Uighur situation” from the governor’s speech.

While working in the New York Labor Department in 2023, Sun received an official lunar new year announcement from Governor Hochul, which was not officially authorized by Hochul’s office, and gifted it to a Chinese official.

This announcement was produced outside normal channels, without permission from Hochul’s office. Sun also drafted false invitation letters for Chinese political figures to travel to the US and without authorization wrote appointment letters to include a fellow Chinese national on New York Governor’s Asian American advisory committee.

She also attempted to arrange a visit by a high-ranking New York state politician to China, as well as organize meetings between visiting delegations from the CCP and New York state officials, sharing internal documents with Beijing clandestinely.

In return, Sun received substantial economic benefits and other favors from the Chinese government and CCP representatives, including covering all expenses for trips to China, top-tier entertainment, concerts, sports event tickets, orchestrating multi-million dollar deals in her husband’s business activities in China, promoting business for close friends and family, providing job opportunities in China for Sun’s cousin, and dishes prepared by a private chef of a Chinese government official in Nanjing. The indictment states that this delicious dish was sent to Sun at least 16 different occasions, even delivered directly to her parents’ home.

Sun and Hu laundered the monetary proceeds from this scheme, purchasing properties worth $4.1 million in Manhasset, New York, a $2.1 million apartment in Honolulu, Hawaii, and various luxury cars, including a 2024 Ferrari.

Hu also laundered illegal gains through bank accounts opened in the names of close relatives. To open these accounts, Hu illegally used images of relatives’ driver’s licenses, but in actuality, these accounts were solely for Hu’s personal use.

Federal Prosecutor Pierce of the Eastern District of New York stated, “The accused held prominent positions in the New York state government, ostensibly serving the people of New York, but in reality, advancing the interests of the Chinese government and CCP.”

“This illegal scheme netted the accused’s family millions of dollars in profits. We will aggressively prosecute those who operate as undisclosed agents for foreign governments.”

As an employee of the New York state government, Sun never disclosed any benefits she received from the Chinese government and CCP representatives, which was her obligation. Nearly two years ago, “evidence of misconduct” was discovered by Hochul’s office and reported to authorities, leading to Sun’s dismissal.

On Tuesday morning, federal agents entered their residence in Long Island and arrested them on 10 charges.

According to Sun’s LinkedIn profile, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Barnard College and a Master’s degree in Education from Columbia University. She had served in various New York state government positions over the past 15 years. Initially as Chief of Staff for former State Assemblywoman Grace Meng, then transitioning to the Cuomo administration, mainly serving as a community liaison for Queens and the local Asian community. After Governor Hochul took office in September 2021, she was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff and later as Deputy Commissioner of the Labor Department in November 2022 before leaving state government five months later.

Hu operates a luxury vineyard in Flushing, Queens, and has established several businesses over the past decade, including a seafood export company, a wine shop, and a financial consulting firm, often relying on services provided by freight agents authorized by the Chinese government. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he also established a medical supply company called “Medical Supplies USA LLC.”

Sun was born in mainland China and immigrated to the US with her parents at the age of 5, now a naturalized US citizen. Sun and Hu were each released on bail of $1.5 million and $500,000 respectively. The two are scheduled to report to the judge later this month.

Judge Brian Cogan also ruled that their travel would be restricted to New York City, Long Island, Maine, and New Hampshire.

Recently, a series of Chinese spies who were hidden in the US have been arrested, from Wang Shujun and Tang Yuanjun to the recent Linda Sun, indicating that the US government is cracking down. The detailed content of the indictments indicates that federal prosecutors and FBI agents have been secretly investigating for a long time. It is advisable for CCP agents to surrender early and avoid facing the consequences.

The CCP’s journal “Qiushi” recently published an article under Xi Jinping’s name, stating that the Chinese education system must not foster “socialist troublemakers and gravediggers,” otherwise it would be considered a failure. It also emphasized that one must not cultivate individuals who have “Chinese faces, but not Chinese hearts, lacking Chinese sentiments, and missing Chinese essence.” It further demands that textbooks with misaligned political views should be “vetoed.”

An article titled “Why does Xi Jinping’s family all live abroad?” is circulating online. According to domestic media reports, Xi Jinping’s sister and brother-in-law hold Canadian citizenship, his brother is Australian, and his daughter, a Harvard graduate, has a 24-hour security detail sent from mainland China. She also has a long-term US residency visa and can apply for US citizenship at any time. Xi Jinping’s ex-wife Ke Lingling now resides in the UK. He has more relatives and friends living in the US, Canada, and Australia.

According to an insider from the Central Office, this issue is related to Xi Zhongxun. Xi Zhongxun reportedly requested his children to “fly far when they have the opportunity,” as he believed that one might face political persecution if they stay in the country. He insisted that at least one of his children should be involved in politics, and the one he deemed the most sincere and without ulterior motives was Xi Jinping.

Amusing, isn’t it? Who are truly the ones lacking “Chinese hearts and essence”? Who are the “socialist troublemakers and gravediggers”? Xi Jinping is often referred to as the “chief accelerator of the CCP’s demise.” Overseas scholar Wu Zuolai once pointed out, “Is Xi Zhongxun’s son becoming a gravedigger of the CCP?”

On an overseas platform, netizens discuss, “Only those lacking conscience can take over. ” “They are nurturing slaves.” “What’s most feared is to have a ‘Chinese face, but a Soviet heart.'” “The slave owner certainly wouldn’t want to cultivate slaves with dissenting hearts, it’s a one-on-one situation.”

Chinese female director who won the Oscar for Best Director in 2021 once said, “I grew up in China, a country full of lies. The information I received as a child turned out to be false and made me rebellious.”

Chen Shimin, Associate Professor of Political Science at National Taiwan University, asserted, “The economic downturn that led to people’s discontent is primarily due to CCP’s authoritarian rule. Xi Jinping is indeed a gravedigger of the socialist political system.”

Recently, Wang Yilin, former Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation, was accused of bribery and transferred to the prosecutor’s office for review. The Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the CCP made the decision to arrest Wang Yilin on suspicion of bribery. On September 3, the CCDI confiscated images of Wang Yilin’s basement after working in the petroleum system for over 40 years, sparking discussions among netizens. It was rumored online that he embezzled a staggering 900 billion yuan. All valuable items would take 10 trucks a week to haul.

However, the above information has not been officially confirmed. In response, some netizens commented, “Why is the fuel you’re adding so expensive? Do you understand now?” “When the ruler falls, the obedient get a feast.”

Wang Yilin’s public resume shows that he worked in the petroleum system for over 40 years, serving as Vice Director of the Xinjiang Petroleum Management Bureau, General Manager of Sinopec’s Xinjiang Oil Field Company, Deputy General Manager of Sinopec, and Chairman of CNOOC. He served as Chairman and Party Secretary of CNPC in 2015, was removed from his position in 2020, and was investigated in February this year. he was expelled from the party on July 31.

According to official reports, Wang Yilin was accused of using public power as a tool for personal gain, engaging in illicit deals, and abusing his authority for the benefit of others in job adjustments, project contracts, and corporate operations to gain profit, as well as receiving substantial amounts of illegal funds.

Public data shows that CNPC is China’s largest provider of oil and gas production and sales. As of the end of 2023, CNPC’s total assets amounted to 4.4756 trillion yuan, with total liabilities of 1.8668 trillion yuan.

Previously, According to a news release on August 9 by Chinanews, Yangtze power Construction Group Co., Ltd., Former Deputy Secretary of the Party committee, and chairman Fan Jixiang was arrested by the Nanchang peoples’ Procuratorate of Jiangxi province in South China on charges of bribery and use of influence also abusing his power to solicit bribes. The case is under further investigation.

Fan Jixiang was born in 1954 in Zigong, Sichuan. In January this year, Fan Jixiang, who has been retired for 9 years, was under investigation. Fan Jixiang served as chairman of China Yangtze Power Construction Group from 2011 to 2015 and was investigated after 9 years of retirement. This case is part of recent anti-corruption efforts within state-owned enterprises.

There are rumors on platform X that Fan Jixiang set a new record of corruption within the CCP, amounting to 970 billion RMB, of course, this information cannot be confirmed. Netizens commented, “Electricity and oil prices have been monopolized for half a century, and there must have been hundreds of trillions in corruption. With a population of over 100 million, how much corruption is that?” “A brilliant result from over ten years of anti-corruption.” “It’s a competition of who can be more corrupt.”

The electricity and gas that form the most basic needs of everyone’s lives are controlled by these monstrous individuals, who abuse their power, taking advantage of CCP’s state-owned enterprises to oppress and demand from the people, making undue requests. This is just the tip of the iceberg that has been exposed. It is no wonder that under CCP rule, people face immense pressure and hardship in their lives. With a clean government, people could live in peace and prosperity, enjoying the economic benefits brought by the country.
