Recently, in a private school in Huainan City, Anhui Province, a tragic incident unfolded where five students were involved in the death of one student. Parents have accused the school principal and teachers of negligence, with one woman sharing a video online to bring attention to the situation.
In the video, the woman stated, “Everyone, take a look at this. This school is Chunhui School in Fengtai County. A child studying here was beaten to death by several children, and the teachers and principal were not held accountable.”
Another netizen posted on October 18th, mentioning that the 13-year-old child had just transferred to the school and on the night of returning to school after a break, between eight or nine o’clock, was choked to death by five other students sharing the same dormitory.
According to reports from Hongxing News, the netizen who posted is a friend of the deceased student’s parent. However, he mentioned that the parent is currently out of town and unable to provide further information to reporters.

On the afternoon of the 18th, a journalist from Jumuxin News called the Fengtai County Education Bureau regarding the incident. An employee mentioned that the student had just transferred to the school, entering the first year of junior high, while the other five students involved were in the second year of junior high. A conflict arose between them, initially stopped by the school authorities. However, the first-year student later went to the second-year dormitory after evening self-study, leading to the tragic incident.
The staff member also stated that the family of the victim had reached a settlement with the school on the afternoon of the 17th. As for the five students involved, the staff member indicated, “The public security has intervened, they will definitely face disciplinary action.”
The incident has reignited public concern over campus violence online.
