Angelina Jolie, the Hollywood superstar who has been involved in a lengthy divorce battle with Brad Pitt, stepped onto the red carpet of the Tony Awards on the 16th, with her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne by her side.
Jolie, nominated for 12 awards for the musical “The Outsiders,” in which she served as a producer, also acted as a presenter at the event. Vivienne, who has a keen interest in musicals, was credited as an “assistant producer” during the production process and accompanied her mother on the red carpet. The mother-daughter duo even coordinated their outfits in matching colors.
Interestingly, Vivienne, who is usually kept away from the limelight by Jolie, seemed not quite used to the grand occasion. On the red carpet, she appeared visibly nervous, holding her mother’s hand throughout the event, staying close to Jolie’s side, and even trying to hide behind her a few times. Jolie was seen crouching down to speak to her daughter and provide reassurance.
Jolie and Pitt share a total of 6 children, including three adopted children, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, as well as three biological children, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
According to multiple media reports, Vivienne was credited as “Vivienne Jolie” in the staff of the Broadway production of “The Outsiders.” Just like her 18-year-old sister Shiloh, she decided to drop the “Pitt” from their last name, retaining only their mother’s “Jolie,” a move that has garnered attention.
