Analysis: Netizens hope Xi Jinping for re-election to hasten the collapse of the CCP.

Recently, Chinese scholar Wu Zuolai conducted a small opinion poll on the internet regarding whether Xi Jinping would be re-elected at the 21st National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Among the nearly two thousand participants, close to two-thirds believed that Xi would be re-elected, with the hope that this would directly lead to the complete downfall of the CCP before the Fourth Plenary Session.

On October 2nd, Wu Zuolai conducted a small poll on Twitter before the Fourth Plenum, including options such as Xi Jinping stepping down during the Fourth Plenum, stepping down after the 21st Congress, or getting re-elected. As of October 6th, a total of 1,854 people participated, and the results showed that 62.5% of netizens believed that Xi Jinping would continue his term after the 21st Congress, while only 24.3% thought he would step down during the Fourth Plenum, and 13.2% believed he would step down at the 21st Congress.

In a video program, Wu Zuolai expressed, “This result completely caught me by surprise. In my opinion, Xi Jinping will most likely stay until the end, handing over power at the 21st Congress, as the ‘New Era’ has already failed. If he does not step down, the consequences would be endless, possibly even greater than the disasters caused by Mao Zedong.”

He went on to say, “Netizens’ thoughts are quite unique; they prefer to let him continue, serving five or six terms, keep going until he dies in office, leading to the complete downfall of the Communist Party.”

Wu Zuolai quoted the views of netizens, where some believe that keeping Xi in power is a rational choice, “because enduring a little longer will bring about the desired outcome. No one can save the Communist Party.”

Chinese affairs expert Wang He analyzed for Epoch Times that Xi Jinping’s lifelong rule is no longer possible. The current issue is what posture Xi will adopt at the Fourth Plenum, whether he will partially step aside or if he will be re-elected at the 21st Congress – these are the most crucial matters in Chinese politics at present.

He further analyzed that the results of Wu Zuolai’s poll show a deep-seated resentment towards the CCP and Xi Jinping. The desire for him to step down immediately, wanting to extinguish the flames swiftly, the title of ‘Chief Accelerator’ bestowed upon him, all reflect the hope for him to hasten the Communist Party’s downfall.

Wang He believes that the internal political struggle within the CCP is intense. Therefore, understanding the direction of China’s political landscape will be clearer based on the results of the Fourth Plenum.

“Now, various forces are spreading rumors, diverse observations, and conflicting viewpoints collide – the internal trends within the CCP are complex and volatile, with intense infighting,” emphasized Wang He.

“So, the people’s desire is for the CCP’s internal strife to bring it to the brink of collapse, for the people to break free. This demonstrates a societal attitude – for the CCP, this indicates a looming disaster.”

Dr. Lin Song, a veteran Australian media professional, also analyzed for Epoch Times, “On one hand, Xi Jinping wants to be emperor forever and never wants to step down. On the other hand, many Chinese people see that as long as Xi Jinping continues to dream of being emperor, it will eventually lead to the CCP’s downfall, which is better than a leader change prolonging the party’s existence.”

He also emphasized, “Many people are beginning to realize the problems in China. It’s not about changing leaders; it’s about forcing the CCP regime to collapse.”

In the comment section of the survey, netizens expressed, “It must continue until he dies in office”, “Re-elect him, accelerate the reversal to the end”, “The emperor must continue until his last day, accelerate!”

Rongwei Lai, CEO of the Taiwan Inspiration Association (TIA), told Epoch Times that the netizens who participated in the survey seem to be suggesting that Xi Jinping will be re-elected, but in reality, there is a strong sense of derision. “It’s essentially telling readers around the world that as long as Xi Jinping remains in power, the CCP will surely collapse. It will automatically dissolve the party on Chinese soil, giving the Chinese people a better future.”

He stressed, “Behind the high acidity is a kind of helplessness, anger, dissatisfaction with current governance, and a pessimistic view of the future.”

The CCP’s internal policy implementation has posed significant challenges. Inconsistencies in decrees, backtracking, contradictions, leaving the people unsure about what is happening, and the international community’s interpretations are all in a state of confusion.

On the other hand, the CCP continues to escalate its suppression, utilizing so-called cognitive warfare internally and externally, using its global propaganda AI, always aiming to create an illusion of a peaceful system that the international community ultimately sees through.

He emphasized that these are typical signs of the impending collapse of a dictatorship regime.
