Empire State Building is a skyscraper located in the Manhattan district of New York City, USA, and is one of the local landmarks. Many people may not know that this famous building was once hit by a plane, resulting in multiple fatalities. However, one American girl is aware of this incident and claims that she died in that accident in her past life, leaving her mother astonished.
The American TV channel LMN previously shared the story of this girl in a program. The girl’s name is Claire. Her mother, Karen, said that at the age of 8, Claire suddenly developed a fear of flying and began recounting stories from her past life.
Living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Karen stated that Claire has been different since birth. When she entered the world, she was “blue in the face” and “not breathing,” almost dying. When she started to walk, she suddenly claimed that her name was not Claire and adamantly expressed her reluctance to grow up.
At the age of 8, when Karen wanted to take Claire on a plane to visit her aunt, despite having never flown before, Claire was afraid of flying. This puzzled Karen.
When Karen asked Claire what was wrong, Claire’s response left her baffled.
Claire said that she saw a plane crash into a tall building in New York and penetrate through the wall. Since Claire was born three months before the 9/11 events, Karen wondered if Claire was describing a part of that event.
Karen said that Claire later told her she was working in an office in that tall building at the time. She described herself with wavy red hair and even remembered often wearing her hair in a bun.
She said that Claire described the way she dressed somewhat resembling the fashion of the 1950s. But since Karen restricted her child from watching TV programs, where did Claire see 50s clothes and describe them?
She said that Claire mentioned a fire in her office and people panicking, but then she couldn’t remember what happened next. She felt like Claire didn’t want to remember that unfortunate event.
Karen initially thought the tall building Claire mentioned was the World Trade Center hit during the 9/11 attacks, but Claire claimed it was the Empire State Building.
Apart from the events of 9/11, Karen had never heard of any building being hit by a plane, so she researched online. The results left her shocked.
She said, “I was shocked to find out that indeed a plane crashed into the Empire State Building on July 28, 1945. How could an 8-year-old child tell me about this? I don’t understand how she would know about it.”
Karen discovered that a US military bomber crashed into the 79th floor of the Empire State Building that day due to being disoriented, resulting in the deaths of three people on board and 10 people working in the building, with 25 others injured.
Karen said that the clothes Claire described matched the era of this incident. She believes this isn’t just a story but Claire’s memory of a past life.
At the age of 12, Claire said her past life name was Ann or Rose, and she had two children. When the plane hit the Empire State Building, she was working in a small cubicle in her office. She remembered the plane’s wing crashing into her office but couldn’t recall the rest.
To evoke more memories of her past life in Claire, Karen took her to revisit the old site of the Empire State Building, but they were not allowed to enter the 79th floor.
The program producers brought in a list of casualties from that time. One woman named Anna Gerlach seemed to resonate with Claire. Information showed that Anna, an Irish woman with red hair, had two children, and her mother’s name was Rose. She died on the spot when the plane crashed.
Claire said that after revisiting the Empire State Building, she was no longer afraid of flying. “I found out I did die in the Empire State Building during that crash. Being able to piece together all parts of the puzzle and find out who I ultimately was is a good thing. I realize I am no longer in that life, I won’t be hurt anymore, and I don’t have to be afraid anymore.”
