A Chinese female tourist falls to her death in a Malaysian hotel.

On December 7th, a Chinese female tourist who was traveling in Malaysia fell from the 9th floor of a hotel in Kota Kinabalu and died instantly.

The woman was reportedly from Beijing. A viral video circulating online shows the moment the woman fell, with a car’s hood getting smashed and its windshield shattered upon impact.

In the afternoon of December 7th, Mr. Liu, a Chinese staff member of a travel agency in Sabah, Malaysia, told Jiemu News that one of his local colleagues was present at the scene when the incident occurred.

According to him, the Chinese female tourist and her husband were on vacation in Kota Kinabalu. She fell from the 9th floor of a hotel in the city center on the morning of the 7th and landed on a car parked below the hotel. She was found unconscious. Local authorities have confirmed the tourist’s death and are investigating the cause.

Furthermore, according to a report by Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao, Deputy Chief of the Kota Kinabalu Police District, Saleh Salleh Abdul Rahman confirmed that the deceased’s body has been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The case is currently being treated as a sudden death investigation.
