American South Country Construction Association’s 2024 Conference and Seminar to Kick off on June 1st

American Chinese Association of Professionals (ACAP) will hold its 2024 annual conference and scientific engineering technology seminar on June 1st (Saturday) at Marriott Sugar Land, located at 16090 City Walk, Sugar Land, Texas. The theme of this year’s event is “Advancing into 2024: Pioneering a New Era of Artificial Intelligence.” The conference will cover topics such as environmental protection, health, nanotechnology, youth professional exchange sessions, artificial intelligence, business, energy, and science communication.

The event is jointly organized by the World Chinese Businesswomen Association Southern Chapter, Houston Chinese Business Economic and Trade Union, American Chinese Petroleum Association, Southern United Alumni Association of Colleges, Overseas Youth Cultural Ambassadors, and the Economic and Technological Group of the Houston Economic and Technological Office. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Morning sessions will include discussions on environmental protection, health, nanotechnology, composite technology, and youth professional exchanges.

Afternoon sessions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, business, energy, and science communication.

The event acknowledges the support of organizations such as the National Science Council of Taiwan, Hsinchu Science Park, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China. Additionally, companies like Taiwan Plastics, Foxconn, Lovett Homes, and Hon Hai Technology Group have provided sponsorship.

Established in 1978, ACAP is an association made up of Chinese American professionals with diverse knowledge in engineering, science, healthcare, business, humanities, education, arts, and culture. The organization currently has around 200 members hailing from states including but not limited to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Since 2001, ACAP has collaborated with J.P. Morgan, Shell Oil Company, and Marathon Oil Company to host the inaugural Diversity Summit Annual Conference. Since then, the annual conference has garnered broader support, with 300 to 400 attendees from other major corporations and organizations in the Greater Houston area participating each year.
