aespa Makes Japanese Debut, Scheduled to Perform at a Dome After Releasing Japanese Single in July

South Korean popular girl group aespa’s Japanese official website announced this evening (20th) that aespa will release their debut single “Hot Mess” in Japan on July 3, officially entering the Japanese market.

Prior to this announcement, aespa had previously held a Japan tour and even performed at the Tokyo Dome last year. Concurrently with the news of their Japanese debut on their official SNS today, aespa also released footage of their previous activities in Japan as a teaser for their debut single “Hot Mess.”

aespa, who will release their first full-length album “Armageddon” in South Korea on May 27, had already unveiled one of the album’s lead singles, “Supernova,” on the 13th. Following the album release, they are set to kick off their second world tour with concerts in Seoul on June 29 and 30.

After the release of their Japanese debut single “Hot Mess” on July 3, aespa will then embark on a Japan tour starting from Fukuoka on July 6, titled “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : Parallel Line – in JAPAN.” Furthermore, on August 17 and 18, they will hold a special edition of the concert at the Tokyo Dome, titled “TOKYO DOME -Special Edition-,” featuring special performances prepared exclusively for the Tokyo Dome shows.
