Trump and Melania Attend Barron High School Graduation Ceremony

Former U.S. President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania attended their son Barron’s high school graduation ceremony at Oxbridge Academy, also known as the Oxbridge School, in West Palm Beach, Florida on Friday, May 17th.

Before the ceremony, Trump proudly posted on his social media platform, saying, “Heading to Barron’s high school graduation. Great student, good kid! Very exciting!”

On Friday morning, Trump arrived at Barron’s school wearing a suit and a blue tie, accompanied by a motorcade. Throughout the graduation ceremony, the former president sat in the front row of the stands, with Melania by his side and father-in-law Viktor Knavs seated next to Melania.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Barron was one of 116 seniors graduating from Oxbridge Academy on that Friday.

During the graduation ceremony, the Trump couple occasionally applauded and waved in the direction of the graduates, including when Barron took the stage. Barron appeared in front of the audience wearing a graduation cap, a gown, a red sash over his shoulders, and a tie.

Trump attended the entire graduation ceremony, which was a private event lasting about an hour. Oxbridge Academy is a private preparatory school that enrolls students from grades 6 to 12.

Oxbridge Academy is renowned as the “mini Oxford” or “mini Cambridge.” According to the school’s website, it was founded in 2011 by philanthropist William I. Koch, providing outstanding education for students in grades 6 to 12 through unique curriculum, enriching environment, and professional faculty to help them achieve their academic goals with agility, confidence, and clarity.

Every year, 100% of the school’s graduates are admitted to four-year colleges, with 50% entering top 100 U.S. universities or top 50 liberal arts colleges.

Born in 2006, Barron spent most of his childhood in the Trump family’s luxurious penthouse in Manhattan. When Trump assumed office as President in January 2017, he initially lived in Manhattan with his mother Melania. Eventually, after the school year ended, Barron began attending St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland and officially moved into the White House with his family.

In 2021, after Trump’s presidential term ended, Barron transferred to Oxbridge Academy in Florida and graduated on May 17, 2024.
