American Senior Pastor: Communism is a Cancer Spreading Globally

In a recent interview with NTD Television, former Mayor and City Councilman of Thousand Oaks, California, and senior pastor Rob McCoy expressed his concerns about the global spread of communism likened to cancer and its serious threat to the freedom system of the United States. McCoy emphasized that without a steadfast commitment to truth and vigilance, it would be difficult to resist the infiltration and erosion of ideology and systems.

McCoy stated that communism is like a global cancer spreading, and those who seek truth lack awareness of its dangers. He expressed gratitude for the efforts being made to address these issues.

Regarding the bomb threat incident faced by Shen Yun Performing Arts in February at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., McCoy bluntly stated that it was not surprising as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has long infiltrated various levels of the American government and attempted to prevent Shen Yun performances in the U.S.

Having seen Shen Yun in Fresno, McCoy shared his experience, mentioning how the CCP pressured city governments, including Thousand Oaks, to prevent them from hosting Shen Yun performances. He noted similar actions by the CCP in Korea and the U.S., seeking to undermine free speech, assembly, and religious freedoms under the American constitutional republic system.

Describing the CCP as a tyrannical regime masking itself as benign while exerting control through money and influence to strip away freedoms, McCoy emphasized the necessity of defending truth and freedom amid growing apprehension.

Invoking the words of American founding father John Adams, McCoy stressed the importance of moral and religious beliefs in governing a republic. He warned that without continual vigilance and defense of freedoms, constitutional rights could be gradually eroded.

McCoy criticized the CCP for claiming to be a “People’s Republic” while failing to grasp the true meaning of a republic. He pointed out that the CCP regime disregards moral principles and God, suggesting that without moral law, civil law becomes a tool for enslaving people, reflecting the essence of the Communist Party’s ideology.

Despite the CCP’s infiltration into American society and culture, McCoy remains cautiously optimistic about the future. He highlighted a conservative resurgence led by young people in the U.S., citing internal audit data from TikTok showing Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist, as having significant influence among 18 to 30-year-olds, marking a historic conservative movement among American youth.

Charlie Kirk, 32, is a key young conservative leader in the U.S., having founded Turning Point USA (TPUSA) at the age of 18 in 2012. TPUSA has since expanded into a nationwide youth conservative network with chapters in hundreds of schools, organizing large-scale events and attracting tens of thousands of young participants. McCoy collaborates with Kirk as his legal counsel and co-founded Turning Point Faith, an organization within TPUSA that integrates faith and politics to promote churches as part of the conservative movement.

McCoy emphasized the unprecedented achievements of the U.S. in human civilization history, attributing them not to the nation’s superiority but to its status as a melting pot where freedoms and rights are deemed God-given and inalienable, forming the foundation of American success.

In conclusion, McCoy underscored the universal nature of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, asserting that the truths within it pertain to all individuals who acknowledge God’s principles governing human affairs. He emphasized that prosperity for a country comes through seeking God.

With his insights and experiences, Rob McCoy’s words serve as a reminder of the ongoing battle for truth and freedom in the face of growing challenges posed by communist ideologies worldwide.
