Korean Actor Han Ji Min Donates for Children’s Day Year After Year, Attends and Supports Fundraising Event

South Korean actor Han Ji-min has donated 50 million Korean won (approximately 1.3 million New Taiwan dollars / 40,000 US dollars) to help the underprivileged ahead of Children’s Day in Korea on May 5th. She has been making donations on Children’s Day and at the end of the year for years to support those in need, and today (4th) she will also attend a fundraising event.

Her agency, BH Entertainment, announced on the 3rd that Han Ji-min, who has been participating in donation activities with the United Nations International Relief Group “Join Together Society (JTS)” since 2007, has donated another 50 million Korean won this time. Her donation will be used to help hungry children and provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged children.

Since 2007, Han Ji-min has been participating in fundraising activities to help the poor every Children’s Day and at the end of the year. She leads the activities and interacts closely with the public. This year, she will also participate in a fundraising event in Seoul on the afternoon of the 4th, Korea time.

Although last year’s Children’s Day fundraising event was canceled due to heavy rain, Han Ji-min donated 50 million Korean won through online fundraising activities. In December of last year, she not only donated 50 million Korean won but also participated in volunteer activities to transport coal. She also donated 50 million Korean won to help economically disadvantaged groups with heating expenses.
