Taiwan’s Olympic badminton gold medalist, Wang Qilin, was rumored to be dating cheerleader Chen Shiyuan (nicknamed Shiyuan) on the 29th. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Wang Qilin partnered with his friend Li Yang to win the men’s badminton doubles gold medal for Taiwan. Wang caused a stir among netizens when he posted a photo on Instagram in the early hours of the 24th with a petite cheerleader wearing a short skirt. Coincidentally, it was the 29th birthday of Shiyuan, a member of the Le Tien Girls cheerleading squad, on that day, sparking discussions online.
Last year, Wang Qilin was rumored to have a crush on cheerleader Lan Lan, as revealed by Xu Nailin. However, it was reported today that Wang’s romantic interest is actually Chen Shiyuan (Shiyuan), another cheerleader from the Le Tien Girls group – the older sister of AKB48 Team TP’s former captain, Chen Shiya, and both sisters are twins.
