The Communist Party Won’t Let Me Live: Qingdao Driver Crashes into Over Fifty Cars

On the evening of October 23, near People’s Road in Qingdao, Shandong, a malicious retaliatory incident occurred involving a cement tanker truck. The driver of the truck shouted, “The Communist Party won’t let me live, I want to kill people,” as he continuously rammed into more than fifty vehicles.

Multiple online videos show that the incident took place near Yuehui Plaza on People’s Road in Qingdao. One video taken inside the cement tanker truck captured the driver emotionally cursing the Communist Party and yelling, “The Communist Party won’t let me live! I want to kill people!” The driver recklessly rammed into a white van at an intersection and rear-ended a red sedan at the next intersection.

In another video, the driver drove into oncoming traffic, crashing into multiple vehicles before coming to a stop. Private cars were flipped upside down, some vehicles had severe damage to their bodies, and even a bus had its front end deformed and windows shattered.

According to a witness, “The cement mixer truck retaliated against society, ramming (driving against traffic) into more than fifty vehicles.”

On October 24, the Public Security Bureau North Branch in Qingdao, Shandong, reported that a concrete mixer truck collided with multiple vehicles. The injured were taken to the hospital, with three people currently receiving treatment with no life-threatening injuries. The 48-year-old suspect, Sun Moumou (male, resident of Shibei District), is suspected of drunk driving and has been apprehended.

The police report did not specify how many vehicles were impacted by the collisions.

The official report from the authorities has prompted skepticism among netizens: “If the front of the car is gone, how can it be claimed that there are no life-threatening injuries?” “This is an attempt to cover up the incident, labeling the driver as drunk, which was to be expected.” “With the clear and straightforward statement ‘The Communist Party won’t let me live, so I kill,’ can we believe the subsequent information about injuries and casualties? Could it be they are actually trying to save three (or even more) bodies?”

Some netizens sarcastically compared the incident to a parable, saying, “The king in a messenger story believes that by encouraging good news and punishing those who bring bad news, he can eliminate bad news and achieve eternal peace. It’s a utopian idea.”

According to local netizens, the driver who caused the accident had “knelt down in the street selling vegetables after being forced by urban management a few years ago.” It is unclear what led to the latest incident, but in the video, he mentioned being recently detained by the local police station.

Currently, information regarding the accident has been censored on social media. One netizen mentioned posting six videos of the incident, all of which were suppressed.
