Typhoon Yantuo hits Taiwan, all schools and businesses closed on the 4th.

Taiwan’s Central Weather Bureau announced at 5:30 PM today (October 3rd) that the center of Typhoon Santor’s position is to the north-northeast of Kaohsiung, moving slowly northward.

The Central Weather Bureau stated that the typhoon’s storm circle covers areas south of Miaoli, Hualien, Taitung, and Penghu, posing a threat to areas south of Taoyuan, Nantou, Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, and Penghu. It is expected that the intensity of this typhoon will continue to weaken.
