Trump and Gala Kunming to Attend October Event at City Hall in Spanish

This week, the U.S. Republican presidential candidate, Trump (Trump), refused to engage in a second debate with his Democratic counterpart, Heg Jin-li. Instead, both parties agreed to participate in a mayoral program hosted by the Spanish-language television network Univision in October, but they will appear separately in two episodes.

Univision News President Daniel Coronell said in a statement, “There are over 3,600 Hispanic voters in the United States, the largest minority group in the country, who can have a significant impact on the presidential election outcome and the future of the nation.”

Trump will take the stage in Miami on October 8, while Heg Jin-li will appear in Las Vegas on October 10. Journalist Enrique Acevedo from Univision will represent Hispanic voters and ask questions. The two programs will be broadcast in Spanish at 10 p.m. Eastern Time.

Both selected cities have a large Hispanic population – Miami has a Hispanic population of up to 70%, while Las Vegas has a Hispanic population of 34%.

The latest polls show that Trump and Heg Jin-li are fiercely competing in various states. Trump is slightly ahead of Heg Jin-li in Florida, while Heg Jin-li leads Trump in Nevada.

In response to Heg Jin-li’s invitation for a second television debate, Trump made a statement at a rally in North Carolina on the 21st. Trump said he was happy to debate Heg Jin-li because debates have some entertainment value. However, since Virginia, Minnesota, and South Dakota have already started voting, he believes there is no need for another debate.

According to Reuters, Trump was asked during an interview with the Sinclair Broadcast Group if he would consider running again in 2028 if he loses in November. Trump said he doesn’t think he will run again, and he expressed, “I look forward to us being very successful.”
