The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), in order to confuse and deceive, has labeled its controlled military forces as the “People’s Liberation Army of China,” and self-proclaimed itself as the “stronghold of the Chinese people.” The CCP military stipulates that when citizens enlist, they must pledge to “serve the people.” However, a circulated video on the internet shows that this pledge has been altered to “serve the Chinese Communist Party,” revealing the true nature of the military as the “Party’s Guards.”
According to the regulations of the CCP military issued in 2018 in the “Internal Rules of the People’s Liberation Army of China,” new recruits are required to solemnly and neatly conduct a military oath within 90 days of enlistment.
Article 13 of these regulations states that the military oath is as follows: “I am a soldier of the People’s Liberation Army of China. I swear to obey the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, to wholeheartedly serve the people, to obey orders, be loyal to my duties, adhere strictly to discipline, safeguard secrets, be courageous and tenacious, not fear sacrifice, hone my skills to defeat the enemy, be prepared for battle at all times, never desert the army, and vow to defend the motherland.”
However, on April 15, overseas Chinese writer Gao Falin stated on social media, “In the oath of the People’s Liberation Army, the phrase ‘serve the people wholeheartedly’ has been changed to ‘serve the Chinese Communist Party wholeheartedly.'” He also uploaded a related video.
In the video, during the oath-taking ceremony, the oath was altered, changing “serve the people wholeheartedly” to “serve the Chinese Communist Party wholeheartedly.”
Netizens commented, “They were always the Party’s army, just pretending before, now they can’t be bothered to pretend anymore.” “The Party’s Guards have even discarded their fig leaf.” “In the future, don’t call them ‘People’s soldiers,’ they are truly ‘Party Guards’ and ‘minions of the leader!'” “The Party’s Guards have now positioned themselves against the people!” “Finally revealing their evil face, the People’s Liberation Army, composed of the people, is now used exclusively to suppress the people.”
