Recently, a car accident occurred in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, where a former deputy director of the local Natural Resources Bureau hit and killed a pregnant woman. It was rumored online that the pregnant woman was carrying twins.

A viral video circulating online showed a sedan involved in the accident surrounded by a crowd of people. The front windshield of the car was shattered after hitting three guardrails by the roadside.
According to a report from the Traffic Police Brigade of Dongxiang District Public Security Bureau in Fuzhou, Jiangxi, on June 6th around 8:50 pm, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Heng’an Road and Longshan Road in Dongxiang District, resulting in critical injuries to a pregnant woman who unfortunately passed away despite rescue efforts being made.
The report stated that the driver responsible for the accident is a 59-year-old man named Li Moubo, who has been detained for criminal investigation.
On the morning of the 7th, a local shopkeeper near the scene of the incident informed “Extreme News” that around 8:50 pm on the 6th, a pregnant woman was hit by a vehicle. Another shopkeeper mentioned hearing the impact and upon investigation, observed the sedan involved in the accident stopping. Additionally, a tricycle parked on the roadside was damaged by the sedan, and many shared bicycles on the roadside were also affected.
Reports revealed that the driver of the sedan involved in the incident is a Grade A senior staff member of the Natural Resources Bureau in Dongxiang District, Fuzhou. The individual has been taken into custody. Unfortunately, a pregnant woman was injured in the accident, rushed to the hospital, but tragically succumbed to her injuries.
According to information from the local official departments in Fuzhou, the driver, Li Moubo, who is a Grade A senior staff member at the Natural Resources Bureau in Dongxiang District, Fuzhou, was in control at the time of the incident. The official government website indicated that Li Moubo previously served as the deputy director of the Natural Resources Bureau in Dongxiang District in 2020.
