Zhao Xuehuang’s second daughter, Zhao Xuan, revealed that her father passed away early in the morning of January 10. She sorrowfully stated, “Dad has become an angel,” revealing his struggles with pneumonia and other health issues over the years.
Regarding the funeral arrangements, according to an exclusive report by “Whisper! Star News,” Zhao Xuehuang had instructed his family to opt for burial and not hold a funeral ceremony, a wish they are respecting.
Zhao Xuehuang was a well-known actor in the 1980s and 1990s, showcasing his talent in dramas like “Wangfuyan” and “Ghost Husband.” However, a serious car accident in Beijing in 2000 left him paralyzed from the chest down, relying on a wheelchair for mobility since then.
Despite the sudden and tragic turn of events, Zhao Xuehuang found solace in the unwavering care of his wife, Wu Ping, who nursed him back to health. He credited her care as crucial to his well-being during those tough years.
Actress Yang Guimei, who portrayed Zhao Xuehuang’s wife on screen multiple times, described him as a “fighter of life” and expressed her admiration for his wife’s devotion.

Let’s have a drink when I’m better!” In 2005, despite his physical limitations, he made a comeback in the drama “Goodbye, Zhongzhen Village,” earning a nomination for Best Actor at the Golden Bell Awards.
Celebrities like Kou Shixun, Yang Guimei, and Wang Shujuan, who often visited Zhao Xuehuang in recent years, were deeply saddened by his passing. Kou Shixun expressed his sorrow, saying, “Xuehuang, you are finally free; remember to watch over your loved ones from above… Rest in peace!” Their words reflected deep sadness and loss.
