On July 2nd, three mother-daughter pairs were involved in a tragic accident while on a chartered tour in Aba, Sichuan. At that time, two children unfortunately lost their lives, along with 5 people including the driver who went missing. As of now, 3 out of the 5 missing persons have been found, but sadly, all were confirmed deceased.
According to a report by Jiemu News on July 18th, information obtained from the families of the victims revealed that another female victim was discovered during the search and rescue process. Currently, there are still 1 woman and 1 child who remain missing.
On July 5th, a netizen posted a plea for help on social media, mentioning that their three aunts were traveling with three children in western Sichuan, along with the driver making a total of 7 people. They had an accident while traveling from Aba County to Seda County, where the vehicle had a tire blowout and subsequently rolled down a cliff.
The search and rescue efforts are ongoing, as of July 18th, it has been confirmed that 5 people lost their lives in the accident, with 2 individuals still missing.
