5 Dead and Injured in Explosion at Hunan Firecracker Factory on the Eve of China Fireworks Expo

On April 26th, an explosion occurred in the crushing workshop of the Huanggu Fireworks Factory in Junchu Town, Liling City, Hunan Province, resulting in 3 deaths and 2 injuries. Three days later, on April 29th, the city will host the 5th China Fireworks and Firecrackers Expo.

The Liling City Emergency Management Bureau reported that on the morning of the 26th, around 9 a.m., an explosion took place in workshop No. 60 of the Huanggu Fireworks Factory in Junchu Town, Liling City, resulting in 3 fatalities and 2 injuries.
