“Da Ji Yuan News, December 21, 2024” – The Fang Foundation held the “Colorful Notes – Chengyuan Piano Solo Concert” in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 14th, featuring the talented 15-year-old Chinese pianist, Li Jiacheng, attracting 150 guests from various sectors.
Ms. Pan Yiling, CEO of the Fang Foundation, expressed that Li Jiacheng has shown extraordinary musical talent since a young age. The foundation was honored to host this piano solo concert, introducing this young musician to friends in Southern California. She urged everyone to support and encourage Jiacheng in pursuing his dream of becoming a pianist.
Li Jiacheng started learning the piano at the age of 9, leveraging his photographic memory and profound musical knowledge to gradually make a name for himself in the music industry over six years. In August of this year, Li Jiacheng held his first charity solo concert at the Eslite Performance Hall in Taipei, receiving thunderous applause from 350 audience members. His performance in Los Angeles further affirmed his musical talent and future potential.
Former National Policy Advisor to the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Shi Guofengzhu, specifically flew from Taiwan to the United States to cheer on her grandson, Li Jiacheng. Shi Guofengzhu has long been dedicated to promoting the career development of Chinese businesswomen and has made significant contributions to the Chinese community. She is also an essential member in the internationalization efforts of the World Chinese Businesswomen Association.
Established 16 years ago, the Fang Foundation has always been devoted to the fields of education, culture, and art, helping nearly a hundred students complete their studies and providing long-term funding to indigenous Taiwanese students for higher education. Moreover, the foundation sponsors various cultural and artistic events both domestically and internationally, with founders Fang Xiaowei, Fang Jia’en, and Fang Jiarou, three lawyers, joining forces to give back to society with their expertise and resources.
The concert also received support from several politicians. U.S. Congresswoman Zhao Meixin delivered a speech and presented awards at the event. Despite having to leave early due to a busy schedule, she still showed high support for the young musician. The mayors and council members of the cities of San Marino, Arcadia, and Diamond Bar were also present to present commendations, fully recognizing Li Jiacheng’s musical talent and future achievements.
