Recently, a homicide case occurred in Dong’an County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. A man in his fifties, who had recently been released from prison, attacked and stabbed four people, resulting in three deaths and one injury. One of the victims was a passerby on a motorcycle who tried to intervene upon witnessing the assailant’s attack but tragically lost his life in the process.

According to the report, a villager named Mr. Huang stated that on September 9th, his son, Huang Mingfei, went to the town one kilometer away from home to pick up a package. While riding his electric bike, he saw the suspect committing the violent act, having already killed two people. Despite not knowing the assailant, Huang Mingfei attempted to stop him but was fatally stabbed multiple times (in the chest, abdomen, and other vital areas) on the spot.
Mr. Huang said that Huang Mingfei, a graduate student, had worked at the Tarim Oilfield in Xinjiang and returned home to recuperate from a benign tumor. He was almost fully recovered before the incident occurred.
The village officials where the incident took place stated that the suspect fled into the mountains after the crime. With the assistance of the town and village cadres, the suspect was captured by the police on the 12th. The criminal case resulted in three deaths and one injury. There had been minor conflicts and disputes between the suspect and the parents of two deceased individuals for an extended period.
