25-Year-Old Taiwanese Woman Missing in Australia for 3 Days Found Safe

On Thursday, May 2, Queensland Police in Australia posted a missing persons notice on their official website seeking information on the whereabouts of a 25-year-old Taiwanese woman living in Brisbane. Shortly after the announcement was made, the police updated the information, stating that the woman had been found.

The police notification indicated that the missing 25-year-old woman has been located safe and sound, with her name information removed from the previous announcement.

According to the initial police announcement, the woman was last seen around 10:20 pm on April 29 at a student residence on Wharf Street. Since 8:00 am on April 30, she had not been in contact with anyone.

Described as about 160 cm tall with a slim build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes, the Taiwanese woman’s disappearance is out of character, causing concern for both her family and the authorities. The police urge the public to contact investigators if they have any information regarding her whereabouts.

Reported by the local Chinese media outlet “Sydney Today,” the woman’s relatives disclosed that she entered Australia on a tourist visa on April 6 and is currently studying at Browns English Language School in Brisbane. Her mother mentioned that the last time she contacted her daughter was at noon on April 30, after which there was no news from her. The last time her daughter used the dormitory access card was around 6:00 pm on the 29th of April.
