According to entertainment blogger “Dīngdōng Gossip”, popular influencer Zhong Kecheng confirmed within a group chat that Ma Zhanghao had indeed passed away. He personally called people close to Ma Zhanghao to verify the tragic news.
As per the information that has been disclosed, an informed source revealed that Ma Zhanghao tragically drowned while climbing a bridge at a certain sports center on April 8. Following the drowning incident, he was rushed to the hospital for rescue efforts. However, due to the prolonged time spent underwater, despite half an hour of efforts to save him, he could not be revived. It was known that Ma Zhanghao had mentioned previously that he did not know how to swim.
Interestingly, last year Ma Zhanghao went to a water park with friends, and his girlfriend Zuo Zhuofan jokingly commented in the friend circle, “Ma Zhanghao: just let me drown”, unexpectedly foreshadowing the tragic event.
