On the occasion of the traditional Asian New Year, the largest Vietnamese community in Southern California, located in Orange County, celebrates with a series of festive events at the Asian Garden Mall. The festivities include fireworks, lion and dragon dances, and offerings to pray for a prosperous new year. This year, the Asian Garden Mall kicked off the Lunar New Year celebrations with the vibrant “New Year Flower Festival” featuring a variety of flowers and exciting programs.

From this week until New Year’s Eve, beloved flowers, trees, and bonsai plants will be showcased at the 22nd annual flower festival at the center. Blessed with the warm sunshine of Southern California, the display promises to bring a breath of spring to residents and visitors alike.

Apart from the floral displays, the Asian Garden Mall is a bustling hub offering shopping, leisure, and entertainment opportunities. With over three hundred merchants selling high-end fashion, trendy jewelry, professional beauty products, and a diverse range of Asian cuisine, the mall caters to a wide array of preferences.

Visitors can indulge in Japanese street food, Chinese noodles, authentic Vietnamese pho, tender and flavorful grilled squid, stylish Macanese milk tea, various desserts, sandwiches, and more. The quality and affordable prices of the offerings have garnered praise from customers.

The climax of the activities will be on January 29, the Lunar New Year day, starting from noon, where the best food and performances will be presented to the enthusiastic audience.

Leading up to the Lunar New Year, the mall will offer live entertainment performances from 5:30 to 9:30 pm every evening during the flower festival.
