2025 Taiwan Select Series Event to Kick Off in the Bay Area.

The “2025 Taiwan Select” series of events organized by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Foreign Trade Association is set to take place in the Jinshan Bay Area from August 15 to November 15. This event, in collaboration with companies such as Kang Bao Foods, Leckersland, various overseas Chinese communities, and airlines, aims to create a carnival that combines culture and cuisine.

This year, Taiwan Select will bring together over forty Taiwanese suppliers, showcasing nearly two hundred high-quality agricultural products. The event is designed with three main features:

1. Cross-cultural Promotion: For the first time, Taiwan Select is partnering with the Korean supermarket H Mart to reach beyond the Chinese market and attract a diverse range of consumers.

2. Family-friendly Carnival Atmosphere: The event will feature folk experiences such as dough figurine making, sugar painting, paper cutting, along with tastings, giveaways, lion dances, kung fu demonstrations, and weekly raffles for flight tickets to create a joyful atmosphere for families to enjoy together.

3. Dining Voucher Giveaway: Customers who make purchases at Taiwan Select during the event period and location can exchange their receipts for the “Taiwan Gourmet Map,” which connects to nearly twenty restaurants offering discounts and rewards points exchange for Combo Market vouchers.

Taiwan Select Store (Combo Market Newark): August 15 to November 15, 2025, with weekend tasting events.

H Mart Twin Store Carnival (San Francisco & San Jose): August 29 to September 7, including opening ceremonies, cultural performances, tastings, tourism promotions, and a flight ticket raffle.

Cupertino Evergreen Supermarket (Marina Food): October 10 to November 7, with themed weekend tasting events.
