In the vast grasslands under the clear blue sky, spirited horses trained by Mongolian herders display exquisite horsemanship skills. The playing of string instruments and wooden blocks echoes the rhythmic sound of galloping hooves, while dazzling chromatic scales reflect the hearty and bold personalities of the herders. The march-like middle section of the music vividly portrays the simple yet solid nomadic life of the Mongolian people. As a triumphant horn sounds, we are brought back to the magnificent finale.
The composition was created by D.F. and orchestrated by Jing Xian. The performance was conducted by Milan Nachev and showcased by the Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra.
