Zhanjiang Elementary School Girl Slapped and Filmed for Amusement by Multiple Classmates

Recently, in a small alley in a residential area in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, a primary school girl was bullied by several classmates, taking turns slapping and shoving her. Some students even filmed the incident with their phones and shared the video online, which sparked public concern.

The circulated video shows the female victim being surrounded and repeatedly slapped and pushed by several students wearing the same school uniform. During the ordeal, some students filmed the incident with their phones, and laughter could be heard in the background. After the video spread online, netizens confirmed through the students’ school uniforms that both parties involved were students from a primary school in Leizhou City.

On May 25th, the staff at Leizhou Xincheng Police Station responded to “Er San Li Information” that the case is currently under investigation, and it has been verified that all individuals involved are primary school students.

On May 26th, a relevant official from the Political and Security Division of Leizhou City Education Bureau responded, stating that this bullying incident was triggered by “daily verbal conflicts” between the students involved. Following the incident, the bullied girl went to the hospital for examination and treatment. After the examination, it was found that she did not suffer any major injuries.

After the incident was exposed online, netizens began discussing it fervently, expressing concerns such as, “If there are no major physical injuries, what about the mental impact?” “Who is really protected by underage laws?” “May minors no longer be shielded from consequences.”
