In late 2019, the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Wuhan, China, led to three years of strict lockdown measures. Since 2023, people have gradually been returning to their daily lives. However, many Chinese individuals are still suffering from the aftereffects of the vaccine. The Chinese authorities have turned a blind eye to these issues, causing the public’s initial helplessness to turn into anger, with resentment brewing against the Chinese Communist Party.
Several Chinese citizens recently told the Epoch Times that they experienced various aftereffects after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Mr. Yang, the owner of a paper shop in Jiangtun Town, Jiaozhou, Shandong Province, expressed to the Epoch Times reporter: “Compared to younger individuals, there are now more people passing away. Previously, it was rare to see people in their thirties or forties dying from heart attacks or strokes. Now, out of the two hundred or so cases I handle in a year, around ten of them are under 40. Moreover, there are also more deaths among people in their fifties. The reason behind this, most people have already understood – it’s the vaccine. There are more people suffering from heart attacks and strokes; people’s immune systems are generally weakened. Now, issues like hair loss, forgetfulness, skin allergies, etc., are considered minor ailments.”
He mentioned, “How did we get through the epidemic? It’s hard to describe. In short, there have been many deaths, we couldn’t cope, my spouse and I run this business with no employees.”
Ms. Wang from Liaocheng, Shandong Province, shared that her uncle passed away from a heart attack ten days ago. She said, “He had no symptoms and suddenly passed away. My uncle was in good health before, never had to take any medication. We all believe it’s due to the vaccine. There have been many sudden deaths around me, especially among people in their forties and fifties.”
“After receiving the vaccine (two shots in one injection) I began experiencing occasional chest pains. Personally, I have noticed that after receiving the vaccine, I tend to forget things, feel weak all over, become drowsy, have frequent low-grade fevers, hair loss, and tight chest pains in the last six months,” she explained.
Dongshui (pseudonym) from Hechi, Guangxi, in his thirties, mentioned that after receiving three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, he has experienced countless symptoms.
“Heart attacks, strokes torment me, my heart feels uncomfortable every day, nearly had several sudden deaths last year, difficulty in breathing, chest and back pain, indigestion after eating a lot, difficulty in breathing, similar to heart failure, experiencing symptoms every day,” he stated.
He mentioned that this situation started in 2024, and it has been two years now. Despite visiting hospitals for treatment, undergoing coronary artery angiography, multiple CT scans, echocardiograms, he hasn’t received a proper diagnosis. The hospital attributed it to a neurological disorder, deemed incurable. After taking Chinese medicine for over a year, he lost 50 pounds suddenly and is now afraid to continue with the traditional medicine.
“I lose my balance while walking, feel unstable, have a sensation of imminent sudden death, my heartbeats are audible in my ears. I have visited the emergency room several times,” he shared, mentioning that this ailment has rendered him unable to work and even affects his ability to walk steadily.
Dongshui attributed all these issues to the vaccine. He used to be in excellent health, able to stay up late and do laborious work, but now, he can’t work anymore. “I’m disabled, my vision is blurred, and I feel paralyzed. Now, I can only rely on self-care, exercise, and nourish my stomach.”
At the time, Dongshui received the Kangtai vaccine. The manufacturer, Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co., Ltd., is a well-known vaccine research and manufacturing company in China.
“After the second shot, I couldn’t get out of bed, had stomach pains. I asked the nurse if I could skip the third shot, but she disregarded it and gave me another injection. All these shots were administered during the epidemic three years ago, and now it’s disastrous,” he added.
Furthermore, Dongshui’s child is also suffering from the aftereffects of the vaccine, “In any case, my child is also disabled, plagued with various illnesses – dizziness, pain in the heels, lower back pain, seeing stars, stomach ache, chest and back pain.”
He noted that there have been many sudden deaths around him, with at least five or six cases he’s aware of.
When asked about seeking help from the government, Ms. Wang from Liaocheng, Shandong Province, stated that the government completely ignores these issues, saying, “They don’t care, it’s a dead end.”
Dongshui from Hechi, Guangxi, helplessly responded, “I haven’t approached the government, it’s futile.”
In June 2025, Wang Haiyan and several other victims disabled by the COVID-19 vaccine went to the Health Commission and Disease Control Center of Guangdong Province seeking medical compensation. They were not received, and that evening, while in the reception room, they live-streamed their experiences, only for the platform to prevent the broadcast.
In a previous report, Zhao Yajing from Shanxi suffered from acute myeloid leukemia and attributed it to receiving two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine produced by China National Pharmaceutical Group. Zhao and her husband Wang Hongyi suspected a connection to the vaccine and insisted on demanding compensation in Beijing. As a result, Wang Hongyi was sentenced to six months in prison for “provocation and causing trouble,” while Zhao Yajing received a 2 years and 9 months prison sentence for the same charge.
China has witnessed a surge in sudden deaths in recent years, with many victims being relatively young individuals.
Just in the past two months, there have been numerous sudden deaths among young adults, including Chinese officials, celebrities, internet personalities, among others. Here are some examples: Longbay Police Station Chief Mao Xinyu from Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province suddenly passed away while on duty at the age of 45; Director Ye Jun, who directed “Guarding the Palace Museum” and died due to an “incurable illness” at the age of 43; Young artist Yi Lian, an alumnus of the China Academy of Art, passed away due to an “incurable illness” at the age of 38; Deputy Director Yu Hongli of the Yongren County Public Security Bureau in Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, suddenly died during a meeting at the age of 45.
Additionally, Wang Zhiwen, the Party Secretary and Director of the Shuocheng Branch of the Ecological Environment Bureau in Shuozhou City, Shanxi, suddenly passed away while on duty at the age of 49; Renowned exam preparation blogger Zhang Xuefeng died of a heart-related sudden death at the age of 41; Tang Jian, the Party Secretary and Chairman of China Communications Trust, had a sudden heart attack and passed away at the age of 55; Investigative reporter Wei Hua from Henan Radio and Television’s Urban Channel died from a sudden heart condition at the age of 45…
In late March, several Chinese TikTok bloggers posted videos revealing the current situation of people dying in local funeral homes.
The “soul release announcements” from a county-level funeral home listed numerous death certificates and age information. The lists exposed a harsh reality: the vast majority of the deceased were young people. One picture from the announcement on March 18, 2026, showed that within an hour, seven individuals aged between 17 and 90 passed away.
One blogger expressed, “It’s terrifying to see such data every day in 2026. A friend of mine works in a funeral home in a small county.”
Many netizens in the comment section mentioned that there have been many sudden deaths around them recently, suspecting a connection to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Tang Jingyuan, a seasoned commentator with a medical background based in the United States, expressed to the Epoch Times that in China, discussing whether the sudden deaths are related to the vaccine is prohibited by the Chinese Communist Party. Journalists are not allowed to report on them, and medical experts are not permitted to conduct research. The key issue is that the domestically produced vaccine promoted by the authorities is no longer seen as a medical problem but has transformed into a political one.
Tang explained that the novel coronavirus is an RNA virus prone to mutations, requiring significant investment and strong research capabilities to develop an effective RNA virus vaccine. However, when the focus was on determining whether the virus originated from a Chinese lab, Xi Jinping was eager to release a vaccine to gain a foothold in public opinion. As a result, the development of the Chinese vaccines was entirely politically driven. By advancing with large-scale inactivated vaccines and forcefully promoting vaccinations before the safety had been reliably demonstrated, the Chinese Communist Party used the vaccines as bargaining chips in political dealings worldwide.
“For their own sake, the Communist Party is willing to disregard the health of its people. By forcing over a billion people in the country to become guinea pigs, they conducted a massive medical experiment,” Tang remarked.
A college student from Liaoning, using the pseudonym Xiaopeng, expressed anger towards the Chinese government to the Epoch Times, saying, “Do you know? I never cared about national events, but since the COVID-19 epidemic, they forced every one of us to get vaccinated, and I loathe the government. Just on the first day of this year, I got infected again, and it was the same as during the epidemic – high fever of 39 degrees, feeling extremely uncomfortable for a long time.”
Tang added that due to the information blockade by the Chinese government, the anger exhibited by Chinese youth today is just the tip of the iceberg. “Those born in the 2000s didn’t initially understand the Communist Party’s nature of maintaining power through lies. But after being forced to get vaccinated by the government, they realized the detrimental impact of the vaccine on their health. The most critical issue is the sharp decline in immunity, which might be irreversible. Their lives haven’t even started yet, and the government’s iron fist has already shattered them. They will feel genuine anger.”
