109th Precinct of the New York City Police Continues to Seize Counterfeit Goods in Flushing

New York City’s 109th precinct has been conducting anti-counterfeit operations in the Flushing Main Street area, confiscating counterfeit goods.

According to a report released by the 109th precinct on X Platform on April 26, following enforcement actions taken a few days ago, officers from the 109th precinct arrested 2 sellers of counterfeit brand products, issued a summons, and confiscated 125 counterfeit items.

These counterfeit branded products are sold at street stalls, with poor quality and much cheaper prices compared to the genuine products. However, despite being fake goods, there are always buyers interested in them.

For the past two months, there have been several African-American men selling fake Apple earbuds near the Flushing subway station entrance. These men frequently appear as if nothing is wrong, which has raised concerns among local businesses.

On the 16th and 19th of this month, the Commercial Condition Unit of the 109th precinct took enforcement actions against them, arresting 4 individuals and confiscating a total of 94 counterfeit items.
