Jiangsu Veteran Shen Aibin Wrongly Imprisoned Three Times, Worried About Further Persecution.

Jiangsu Wuxi career-transitioned military veteran Shen Aibin recently revealed to a friend that he is in danger of facing his fourth wrongful conviction. He expressed his hope to make his situation public.

After serving his sentence for the third wrongful conviction in April 2025, Shen Aibin has been detained multiple times and is currently under surveillance. According to Ms. Wu, a source who spoke to Dajiyuan, “In March this year, after Shen Aibin sent an open plea for help to the United Nations Human Rights Council, his situation did not improve. He has been cut off from all external communication channels, not even allowed to seek medical treatment outside, which has made him very worried that the authorities in Wuxi are planning his fourth persecution and conviction, prompting him to seek my help.”

Ms. Wu further stated, “The corrupt judicial elements in Wuxi are resorting to all means to abuse their power to target Shen Aibin, attempting to prevent him from exposing their heinous crimes. Furthermore, by issuing ‘confidential letters’ to senior party and judicial leaders, they defame and slander Shen Aibin in order to gain understanding and protection for their evil deeds from higher authorities. Since 2019, Shen Aibin has sent nearly 2000 letters of reports, appeals, and accusations to provincial and central party, government, and judicial authorities, all of which have been met with silence.”

“The evil acts committed by the CCP in Wuxi against Shen Aibin are appalling and incomprehensible. While the Chinese Communist Party’s ‘Party Constitution,’ ‘Constitution,’ and laws are so eloquent, perfect, great, glorious, and correct, the actions of the CCP in Wuxi reveal a grotesque, terrifyingly evil face of the Party. This is the harsh reality, and Shen Aibin’s ordeal in Wuxi is undeniable evidence.”

“However, faced with the CCP’s evil deeds in Wuxi, the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CCP, Political and Legal Committee, High Court, Procuratorate, and Discipline Inspection Commission have all remained silent or even acted as accomplices, further proving the wickedness of the CCP’s judicial system and management supervision mechanisms.”

Shen Aibin, 54 years old, is a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, and a military veteran who transitioned to civilian life. He previously worked in the Wuxi City Management System, engaging in legal supervision and law enforcement management. Since 2009, he has been providing legal advice to petitioners and rights defenders in Wuxi and organizing rescues of individuals from black jails. For this, he has faced continuous repression and persecution by the Wuxi authorities.
