On April 24th, the Chinese Athletics Association issued a report stating that 10 participants who engaged in uncivilized behavior during the competition have been banned from participating in any Chinese Athletics Association road races for a period of three years and their application for the certification of the 2026 Suzhou Marathon has been revoked.
The suspension for the 10 participants is effective from March 2, 2025, to March 1, 2028.
